LUNG FUNCTION TESTS

A lung function test is an invaluable screening test of general respiratory health.

Lung function/spirometry tests are undertaken where employees are exposed to fumes, dusts, solvents and/or dangerous airborne particles e.g. panel beaters, manufacturing plants, boat builders, woodworkers, spray painters, chemical and fertilizer products. Lung function tests will help you comply with the health and safety responsibilities it is also a requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

The employee undergoes a short series of questions and a physical assessment relevant to their lung function. The Lung-function test can be provided in your workplace.
Lung-function – Spirometry graph report provided to staff and relevant manager
